When someone asks me to “surprise them”. I love any opportunity to go off menu and make something new.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?Bloody Mary’s, which is ironic because I hate the taste of them myself. I’ve worked brunch shift for years and every one of my regulars likes theirs a little different. Whether it’s 2 dashes of Tabasco or 6, pickle juice or olives, a splash of beer or a splash of OJ, there’s so much you can do to make it extra special for your guest.
What would you do with the $20,000?The restaurant I’ve made my home for the last several years is shutting down after 20+ years. We don’t know when exactly, but we know it’s soon. I’d use 20k to make sure my restaurant family is able to put food on the table and pay their bills while we look for new work.
