This achievement, combined with integration of locally sourced and homegrown ingredients into my cocktails, stands out as a major accomplishment. I take great satisfaction in crafting drinks that reflect Arizona’s unique flavors, from using native plants to incorporating herbs from my own garden.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?My favorite cocktail to make is a Smoke Bitters Pineapple Mezcal Sour with Egg White. I love how the smokiness of the mezcal pairs with the tropical sweetness of pineapple, creating a rich and complex flavor. The smoke bitters add a unique depth, while the egg white gives the cocktail a silky texture and a frothy finish. It's a drink that’s both visually striking and incredibly satisfying too make.
What would you do with the $20,000?If I won the $20,000 I would start a community garden. In which I would teach others in my profession, how to grow and use their own ingredients in the cocktails.
