Creating Art, using fresh ingredients. Sharing a story about the spirits and picking out a name for the craft cocktail. The challenge! To me it’s “ lights, camera, action. Engaging and including the guest in my creation. I put my son through private school his entire life. Single mom (bartending) I feel like it’s my calling.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?A old fashion! 💯 This country was built from the sales of bourbon 🥃. I like to use a sugar cube and dash it with bitters and add a little bit of water. Then muddle until it becomes a paste that has evenly coated the glass. 2 oz bourbon use a bar spoon of luxardo cherry. Drop a cherry in bottom of glass. Stir, big cube and pour. Then an orange peel. Preferably thick light on fire, squeeze rub rim on edge of glass and a perfect classic old fashion.
What would you do with the $20,000?I have so many different answers. I speak from my heart. Im an only daughter. My father passed 2 years ago and my mother is turning 86 this November. I would love to take her to do something memorable and meaningful. Also I have a 5 year granddaughter and I would like to purchase a CD for her. Of course and I’m sure you hear this all the time but I want a mobile event bar. I have only bartended my whole life so I would love to create my own brand of entertainment and have something to show for!
