Trying new techniques. Playing with fire. Mixing with food grade compounds. One of my most favorite things about bartending is Vibing off people. It’s so much fun dealing with the public jamming to the music, trying new drinks, talking, and enjoying life. Bartenders always seem to have fun and boy do I have fun behind the bar. It’s fun talking and dealing with the vendors purchasing alcohol. But the most enjoyable part of being a bartender is watching people enjoy all your hard work. 🙂
What is your favorite drink to make and why?One of my favorite drinks to make is a bacon washed bourbon old-fashioned. I really enjoy the process, cooking the bacon (eating the bacon) to get the fat, putting the fat in the bourbon. Letting the bacon fat cool and chill overnight. Scraping off the fat. Smoking the bourbon with cherry wood. Then preparing the drink for the guest and watching the guest enjoy it. The full start to finish. Love it!
What would you do with the $20,000?I really enjoy hiking. So I would love to go to Arizona or New Mexico and go hiking with my wiener dog Buster. And save the rest for a rainy day.
