It feels cliche to say, but the service satisfaction is rewarding. I had the chance to positively influence a guest's experience. That and having the creative freedom to make fun concoctions.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?A traditional Trader Vic Mai Tai. I feel like the Mai Tai was hidden from me for too long. Once discovering that it is not your fruit juice punch drink made with who knows what kind of rum blend, I became obsessed. I feel like I have nailed an orgeat recipe that would rival any brand.
What would you do with the $20,000?What would I do? Say I am in a position of dead even with no debt and tax free $20k, I would travel. I feel like I have not traveled enough to experience places and cultures. Italy first to hopefully meet Salvatore Calabrese.
