My favorite thing about being a bartender is connecting with each person. I love to ensure that everyone feels seen, heard and understood. Making each person feel special on a day of celebration is a great honor and privilege. I am a private event bartender so it’s always a party: High Spirits and real exaltation. It really doesn’t get any better than that! The people I get to meet and care for are the highlight of my job. I authentically live to serve.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?Hands down- my favorite drink to make is “The Roxy” - named after a client and friend who gave me the recipe! Watermelon Ciroc, Strawberry lemonade and fresh lemon make for the most delicious cocktail that wins over the hearts and minds of the staunchest critic. It’s literally the most delicious drink on the planet.
What would you do with the $20,000?I would use it for a down payment for our family home. No more renting for us! I want to be able to create a safe, stable place for my children so that we can stay together on the same street as my mom, the same street I’ve called home since my birth. I would reinvest in my business and definitely get a car that fits my equipment, and resume doing what I do!
