I really enjoy the dynamic of conversation and connection that comes from the environment of the bar. It’s helped me come out of my introverted shell a lot in the last couple of years, make great connections, gain confidence, and I really love when I’m able to have a positive conversation with someone and find that common ground especially over unifying topics such as music. I also always try to create drinks that are inspired by rock music and put my own unique spin on them.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?An espresso martini. I love that it’s a modern classic drink invented in the 80’s (which is my favorite decade) and that its creation can be traced to one bartender. A lot of cocktails don’t have that kind of story and it’s cool to see how someone can leave their mark on the industry.
What would you do with the $20,000?Pay off my student loans from my undergraduate degree or put it toward the MBA in Music Business I’d like to pursue
