Oh it’s creating cocktails, hands down! I love to create a seasonal, kick ass craft cocktail menu. Creating something completely unique, including family recipes and turning people on to new ingredients and different spirits/cordials they wouldn’t dare try on their own.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?Mojito, it is known to be a bartenders least favorite drink to make. I enjoy the task 6 deep at the bar and will make it perfect every time. Such a simple drink yet, when done correctly, it’s delicious and refreshing. The riffs and variations that come from this classic, what a shame some people disrespect this staple.
What would you do with the $20,000?My goal is to open up my own craft cocktail bar. I’m also working on buying a house. I’ve been saving up for the passed several years, this would get me exactly where I need to be.
