The people: honestly, not all my interactions have been with the end result of becoming BFFs, however, I can say that good or bad, every moment has taught me something about others and myself, again good or bad.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?The Old Fashioned: a cocktail with a myriad of opinions from the people ordering them, variations from angst-ridden bartenders, and experts bogged down with innumerable folklores to maneuver in order to learn its’ birthdate.
What would you do with the $20,000?Writing is my other passion; I would like to finish writing and publish a book about cocktails and my personal experiences as they’re both intertwined tightly, being a child of an alcoholic dad, friend to recovering ones, and purveyor to the masses. We all can have a healthy relationship with alcohol, which should bring people together, not apart. If my anthology of life experiences could help a single person, be it the alcoholic and/or the loved one, then I did something worthwhile.
