Being able to creatively express myself on a daily basis, while nurturing a warm and hospitable environment for all people to enjoy. I feel lucky to tap into that side of myself and provide people with a wonderful experience time after time. The skillset required to be a truly top level bartender is a huge challenge to aspire to, and the amount of dexterity that is necessary on a nightly basis to achieve such a level is unique. Bartending is my passion, and I’m lucky to practice it every day.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?My favorite drink to make for a guest is one that they are not expecting. I like to take someone’s first inclination of what they would like and turn it into something special. Being able to always suggestively sell is a skill that I often use to meet this challenge. I love all aspects of drink making, from building a cocktail to using different techniques to craft an exquisite libation. I always try to put love into every drink I make because I know that it will be felt and tasted by the guest.
What would you do with the $20,000?I would put a down payment on a house for me and my family. I am blessed to have an incredible sweetheart and daughter that support me, and to be able to take the next step in our lives by buying a house would be amazing.
