I’m hilarious, I make kick ass drinks, and I’m efficient. I think a great bartender is a balancing act of all three of those things.

My favorite thing about being a bartender are my regulars, the people I’ve met along the way, and the opportunity to be creative with recipes. I love when a guest asks me to make them something on the fly based on their preferred flavor profile and I get to be creative and spontaneous. My regulars also deserve a spot on my favorites list. Throughout the years I’ve become really good friends, and have developed fun relationships with them that make bartending something to cherish.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?My favorite drink to make is a margarita, of any variety. It’s sweet, it’s sour, and can really be an opportunity for creative flavors. I really love making infused simple syrups and experimenting with different combinations of flavors. Margaritas, if made well, can really be the star of the show.
What would you do with the $20,000?If I won the $20,000 I would take a few industry friends and myself on a much needed vacation to a spot with good drinks (of course). We all know how hard bartenders work, and how it can be mentally and physically draining at times, and that’s why I’d do something fun with it!
