Learn MoreMy favorite thing about being a bartender is being able to work under pressure and being able to satisfy tons of people at once. Being able to connect to customers through cocktails is a gift that many people don’t understand. Besides the actual drink aspect, it’s about being an unlicensed therapist, I get to talk to people and listen to their countless stories and advice, I also get to help people get through there struggles all at one place and that’s behind the bar.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?My favorite cocktail to make definitely has to be a traditional whiskey sour, because most people never had it the right way. When I ask people if they ever had a whiskey sour with egg white their face changes. But they try it for the first time they always come back for another one and they always say, best whiskey sour ever.
What would you do with the $20,000?The money would go towards a place that I can call my own. So I can provide for my family and put my parents into retirement, family had always been 1st for me, as I grew up into an adult I’ve realized that if you really want to fight for something you love you need to put all your time and effort into it. In the future it will definitely pay off. I’ve been working since I was 15 years old and instantly fell in love with the restaurant industry and bartending. So the money will go into my dream
