The human connection and the interaction with my guests. For me, as someone who grew up with severe social anxiety, being a bartender is a testament to my personal development in overcoming those challenges and embracing being (and thriving) in a social environment.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?The mojito. I am a Cuban-American and I take great pride in making the mojito the same way it would be made at a bar in Havana.
