My favourite thing about bartending is creating experiences through cocktails. I love seeing people enjoy something that I have created. The preparation of ingredients, carefully building the specs of each cocktail, all the way through the steps and to see these drinks come alive through service is a fulfilling process. I absolutely love that I am lucky enough to have the chance to do this everyday!
What is your favorite drink to make and why?It is SO hard to pick a favourite drink to make! My favourite classic cocktail is a Negroni, so I really love making those. There’s something so special about nailing a classic. Not to toot my own horn but I have several regulars who won’t order a Negroni anywhere else in the city other than my bar, when I’m working.
What would you do with the $20,000?If I was lucky enough to make it to the end I would love to get started on a project that one of my best friends and I have been dreaming up. We hope to one day launch a portable bar together, to work special events and create experiences and memories through our cocktails! And also buy my cats lots and lots of toys and treats!
