What is your favorite thing about being a bartender?

What I love most about being a bartender is that it’s become second nature to me, it’s almost like muscle memory. Yes, it’s technically a job, but after doing it for so long, it doesn’t feel like work anymore. I thrive in venues and events where the music is on point, the DJ is bringing the energy, and I can just vibe, pouring drinks non-stop.

What is your favorite drink to make and why?

My favorite drink to make has to be an LA Water. It’s a rare find in Houston, and I love introducing it to customers who’ve never tried it before. When someone asks me to surprise them, I make one, and they end up loving it. Later, they’ll tell me they tried to order it elsewhere, but no one else knew how to make it. It’s a great feeling to know my drinks leave such a memorable impression.

What would you do with the $20,000?

I would definitely start by clearing my debt, then focus on a few key areas. First, I’d set aside a portion for savings or investments to build some long-term security. Then, I’d invest in something that adds value to my career, like marketing courses to boost the club’s brand. Finally, I’d save a bit for travel.
