Want to learn more about our competition?
Learn MoreMeeting people from all walks of life. I enjoy hearing their stories and taking the time to get to know them. I have made a lot of friends this way, as well as many interesting connections over the years. I also enjoy the creative aspects of the job like making new cocktails, which allows me to showcase my skills and background with the ingredients I choose.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?One of my favorite drinks to make is a craft cocktail I created called Tala, which means star in Tagalog. I made this cocktail during a competition I was in and decided to showcase my background through it. I used ube liqueur because it reminded me of home and the competition was the perfect way to introduce it to people. The drink has a vibrant purple color that catches the eye and the rich taste of ube expands people's perspectives.
What would you do with the $20,000?Part of the proceeds will go to charity. Since I was a kid, I've had the goal of helping others that are less fortunate. During the pandemic, lots of workers lost their jobs and are still struggling to get back on their feet. The remaining part of the proceeds will help fund our start up mobile bar.
