In the first 10 years I would have said the pace, the energy, and the crafting of great cocktails. Now, a bit more along in my journey, it's ALL about the relationships and connections I've made with both my fellow tenders and my amazing guests/regulars/friends! I've served them all from captains of industry, to the most modest of men/women and from my humble position across the stick have learned ultimately, People Are People. Respect them, truly see and hear them, and serve them a good drink!

At this point in my career, it can become a bit mundane making the same cocktails over and over, night after night so I would say my favorite drinks to make are the creation of something new. Taking an idea from concept to a guests first satisfied sip, when successfully achieved, that's the best feeling there is. It's what drives me and fuels my passion for this beautiful art.

We all know too well the hours and lifestyle of this industry takes a toll on those we love the most, our families. I would aim to repay my wife and son's support and sacrifice of time with as much world travel as we could fit in for 20k. Travel is one of our families' biggest passions and also one of the biggest inspirations I try to bring to my cocktail creation as I always aim to learn and grow from interacting with other cultures!
