My favorite part of bartending is not just crafting drinks, but creating an experience for guests to enjoy. It's about being part of their social moments, whether it's a celebration or a casual visit, and offering them an outlet to unwind. Each drink is a piece of my craft, and through it, I get to connect with people, share in their enjoyment, and make them feel like they're not just being served, but welcomed. That connection makes the job incredibly fulfilling.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?The espresso martini is my favorite drink to make, not just because my regulars have created a cult following around it—telling everyone to come try mine—but because of what the drink represents. It’s often ordered at a moment when guests decide to treat themselves, and I take pride in delivering something that fulfills that promise they made to themselves. It’s more than just a cocktail; it’s a small celebration, and I love being part of that.
What would you do with the $20,000?If I won the $20,000, I’d use it to start my own mobile bartending business, giving me creative freedom with cocktails and a broader reach for events and social influence. This venture would allow me to expand and refine my craft under my own brand while creating unique experiences for clients. My goal is to help others celebrate and build special moments, all while growing as a bartender and entrepreneur.
