Connect What is your favorite thing about being a bartender?

Hands down, it’s the creativity! I love crafting cocktails that not only taste amazing but also bring a smile when people take that first sip. When I see my drinks featured on menus or splashed across social media, it’s like a little victory dance—satisfaction, pride, and pure happiness all rolled into one. The best part? Watching guests order them again and again because they genuinely enjoy what I’ve made. Pick me, and let’s shake things up!

What is your favorite drink to make and why?

My favorite drink to make is the Violet Flight—the first cocktail I ever created that won our restaurant’s cocktail contest! Not only did I take first place, but it was also added to our menu, and I got to take over a speakeasy for the night with three more of my own creations featured. Violet Flight is my twist on the classic Aviation, with gin, lime juice, simple syrup, and crème de violette. It’s bold, beautiful, and unforgettable. Pick me, and let’s make magic behind the bar!

What would you do with the $20,000?

With the $20,000, I would love to do something for my nephew, who’s like a son to me. My parents and I have raised him since he was 6 months old, and I’d love to take him on an unforgettable trip & put money away for his future. Whatever’s left, I’d invest in myself, working three jobs doesn’t leave much time for anything else! I'd love the chance to work a little less and be able to enjoy more time with my family and friends. I'm beyond grateful for any opportunity to make this happen!
