My favorite thing is that it doesn’t feel like “work”. When I walk in for my shift, I’m met with hugs, smiles, and laughter from all of my regulars. When it’s prime time and I’m running around like a sweaty idiot, it’s FUN. I’m blessed that I’ve found my true passion.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?I have two. 1) A margarita; because there are so many different ways to personalize them to fit my patron’s pallets. 2) An Old Fashion; because I worked tirelessly to practice making them perfectly and I love the look on my patrons’ face when they take the first sip and say “Damn, he knows what he’s doing.”
What would you do with the $20,000?I would use it to pay off debt and prepare to fulfill my dream of opening a bar of my own. It has always been a dream of mine open a bar and name it “Nan’s”; after my late mother.
