Learn MoreThe best part of being a bartender is the overall experience. We must create a welcoming atmosphere with a well-mixed environment of attention and quality. Each guest is meant to feel connected in some small way with the service for them to fill that seat again. That's how sales are done, that's how life is done. Add the science to do the math but at the end, it's an emotional experience.
What is your favorite drink to make and why?The Mojito is a sensitive yet versatile cocktail. It can be made in many ways with different flavors but can also be mixed poorly between sour and sweet like many citrus cocktails. What makes it unique is how great it can taste with different nectars, herbs, and spirits where the base can be compared as a template to many other citrus and herb cocktails. It's a drink that instantly reflects the quality of its ingredients and the experience of the bartender.
What would you do with the $20,000?Put into the business to help it grow that much faster. I have plans to bring new or better quality products and services that the South Florida Market hasn't seen. One day I will find the limit of my ambition but until then I will keep innovating.
